If you are enrolled in any of the Under Graduate (UG) course such as BA, B Com, B Sc, BCA or Post Graduate (PG) course such as MCA, MBA, MSc, MA, M Com etc, then you might be very worried about your IGNOU assignment submission.

Earlier, the last date to submit the IGNOU assignments was set as 30 April 20. On 31st March 2020, IGNOU extended assignment submission last date to 15 May 20. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, once again IGNOU administration has decided to extend the last date to submit the assignments as 30 May 20.

So now all students who want to appear in IGNOU Term End Exam June 2020, may submit their assignments in their respective regional centers on or before 30 May 20. Also, it is worth noting that IGNOU assignments need to be submitted to respective regional centers and not to study centers as earlier you used to do. Due to Coronavirus, IGNOU's study centers are now not allowed to accept the assignments and the respective regional centers will accept the soft copies from the candidates.

One more important thing to note is that even though the IGNOU assignments are to be submitted in soft copy to the regional centers, you must preserve the handwritten IGNOU assignments with you as the regional center may ask you to provide the handwritten assignments for cross verification.

So all IGNOU students need to submit their assignments before 30 May 20 in order to appear in TEE June 2020 examination.
