Other Qualifications Required :
(1) Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for General and OBC / Pass class for SC, ST and PWD Candidates in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. (2) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.

RBI Assistant exam 2016-17 for 610 posts in various offices of this bank will be held on 23rd and 24th December 2016 for the aspirants who apply online for the vacancies.

RBI Assistant Salary

RBI Assistant starting basic pay is 14,650 rupees per month in the scale of 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990 (20 years). Two advance increments of 750 rupees will be given for graduates and thus RBI Assistant salary becomes 14,650 rupees. Apart from the basic pay of 14,650 rupees, an RBI Assistant will get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance etc. Presently RBI assistant salary is approximately 32,124 rupees per month.
