BSNL JTO Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed of BE/B.Tech in Electronics/ Telecom/ Radio/ Information Technology/ Electrical/ Computer / Instrumentation Engineering or M.SC in Computer Science/ Electronics are required to appear for GATE 2017 Exam. Candidates need to select the one paper code out of four in GATE Paper codes – EE/CS & IT/ EC/ & IN.

Age Criteria: The candidate must complete 21 years as on the date of examination or date of submission of application form and the candidate must not exceed 30 years as on the date of submission of application.
Relaxation certain is provided for the following candidates
For Govt Servants relaxation provided upto 5 years
For SC/ST candidates relaxation upto 5 years
BSNL employee's upto 5 Years.
For OBC Candidates upto 3 Years
For PH category upto 10 years (15 for SC/ST and 13 for OBC)

BSNL JTO Exam consists of total 120 questions. Each carrying two marks so total 250 marks. Medium of exam is English and total duration of exam is 3 hours. There is also negative marking. Mode of exam is objective type.
The pattern of paper is divided in three sections (Engineering-1-100 marks, Engineering-2-100 marks, General Ability-40 marks)
